As part of a research project. The National Institute of Cartography and remote sensing acquired three electronic tide gauges. It have been installed at:
 Tide gauge of Oran These tide gauges consist of acoustic sensor for measuring sea level with centimetre accuracy as well as barometric and anemometric sensors. The tide gauge of Algiers includes also a weather station. |
